Mr. Lim Nguon is double majoring in economics, at the University of Cambodia, and Business Administration, at Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia. Due to his academic excellence, he has been awarded with the exchange program scholarships to sharpen his skil

Mr. Lim Nguon, B.A. in Economics & Business Administration

Mr. Lim Nguon is double majoring in economics, at the University of Cambodia, and Business Administration, at Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia. Due to his academic excellence, he has been awarded with the exchange program scholarships to sharpen his skill and deepen his specialization in Thailand, United States, and Japan. He has been actively organizing and participating in various project and extracurricular activities, including organizing students’ study trips, cultural exchange programs, fund raising, community work, debate on environmental and gender issues, and other various social works. During Cambodian Chairmanship, He worked as the liaison officer and supporting staff for the ASEAN Summit and related meetings; in particular the ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Environment. He loves research and doing field work.

Miss DIM Socheata has completed a bachelor degree in Finance and Banking from Cambodian Mekong University. Based on her academic and non-academic experience and performance during her university life, she was awarded scholarships to exchanges in Japan, United States, and Singapore to deepen her knowledge, skill and specialization. Despite being a Finance Majoring student, Socheata is very enthusiastic and passionate in environmental protection and community work. As a result, she has been very actively involved in activities such as charity fund raising, no plastic bag campaign, debate on environmental issues, and many other activities organized by her university, FUSAAC (Fulbright and Undergraduate State Alumni Association of Cambodia), and U.S. Embassy in Phnom Penh.

Miss. Dim Socheata, Tender Executive Assistant, Dynamic Pharma Co, LTD

Mr. PHENG Meas Sak has earned a Bachelor in International Studies (with Honors) from Department of International Studies, Institute of Foreign Languages. During his study, he was awarded scholarships to sharpen his specialization and research skill in United States, Germany, and Indonesia. His research interest lies in Political Regime and Economic Development, and Development in Southeast Asia. Meas Sak was immediately recruited after his graduation as a Full-Time Lecturer of the Department of International Studies, IFL. Besides, he has actively involved in environment, community works and volunteers with U.S. Embassy, Cambodian Institute for Cooperation and Peace (CICP), Ministry of Women’s Affairs, and SYCA Cambodia.

Ms. Nhean Dalin is a graduate in Business Administration from France (2012) and currently a senior of Bachelor of Art in International Studies (Honor Student) from Department of International Studies, Institute of Foreign Languages. Due to her academic performance, Dalin was awarded scholarships to broaden her knowledge and skill in the United States and France. Besides, she has actively involved in various community and social works with the U.S. embassy and universities. Due to her quality, she has been contacted to do some projects with private companies such as Mckinsey&Company and LG-licensed Company in Cambodia.

Miss. Sokhema NARA, Assistant to Asia Pacific Regional Coordinator of UN Convention Against Corruption Coalition and to Executive Director of Transparency International Cambodia

Ms. Sokhema NARA has double B.A in International Studies and Economics. She works as Assistant to Asia Pacific Regional Coordinator of UN Convention Against Corruption Coalition and to Executive Director of Transparency International Cambodia. Having volunteered and led youth projects over 4 years, she had developed communication, public relation, training, youth empowerment and project management skills, and received a “Young Ambassador for Volunteerism” award for her significant contribution to social volunteerism. She has also been an outstanding student awarded for honor thesis on environment and economic development, environmental essay/project competitions and international exchange programs in USA, France, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia and represented young female leader in UN’s Regional Conference on Agenda for Women (Panama).

I am currently a junior who always attain top grade in class and was once awarded the outstanding awards in the Department of International Studies of Institute of Foreign Languages. My all-the-way-good performance at school; and my several-year activeness in social involvement has demonstrated me as a committed and responsible person. This has been resulted in and proved by me being selected to attend nice well-known programs and conferences abroad in six different countries within my three year university life. On top of that, I am one of the executive committee of Fulbright and Undergraduate State Alumni Association of Cambodia as a SUSI representative. I also at the same time involve in other social work like radio talk show, public clean up, etc.
